WE DID IT!!!!!!

Finally made it back to Lymington, after 14 days and nearly 4000 miles on our 30 year old KH125 bikes.

Huge thanks for all the support and the very special welcome home party last night.

There will be more details uploaded over the next few days so keep an eye on the website.

You can still donate to the two great charities, see the details below.

Check out our 'Sponsors' page for details of the companies that have generously donated to our two charities, if any company or business would like to sponsor us please contact us for details.

What, Why, When and How?

What:-

The challenge is to ride our bikes around the coast of the UK, roughly following the route shown below in an anti-clockwise direction.  We will be camping at night and will be on the road for 10-14 hours a day, sometimes more.  The route is approximately 4000 miles and consists mainly of 'A' and 'B' roads.

We intend to stop at some points of interest, such as John O'Groats and Lands End, as well as Lowestoft and St Davids, as these are the 'four corners' of the UK.

The route will start and finish at Lymington Masonic Hall, Lymington, Hants.

Why:-

We are passionate about raising money for charity, particularly charities that are close to our hearts.  We have all had experience, either personally or through family and friends, of the effects that a stroke can have on people and how it changes lives and also how the loss of a baby can have an everlasting impact on families.

The charities we are supporting can help individuals and families deal with these, providing full support wherever and however it is needed.

We are raising funds for these charities;

When:-

1986 Kawasaki KH125 - rebuilt as a cafe racer (the silver one)

1987 Kawasaki KH125 - under construction

Pictures of the bikes can be found on the Gallery page.

There will also be other bikes joining us for various days on the trip and if anyone else wants to tag along, for all of it or just the odd day let us know, all are welcome.

We will have a support truck with us carrying our camping gear, spares, tools, fuel etc
